Valve Control Unit Working Principles
C-TOP is a head controller, incorporates signal sending and command devices to monitor all the process valves.
Feature as below:
- Controlled by the pneumatic or electrical actuator.
- Position indicator with signal feedback
- The control head can be installed with pneumatic valves. It receives the signal from control board or PLC. So as to operate and send a signal to the valves. In addition, there is three LED signal indicator in the C-TOP box. Which indicate the status of the valves.
- Green light: open
- RED light: Close
- Yellow: valve is operating in the third position
AS-I design and feature
Connecting sensors with solenoid valve(actuator) easily, fast economically by AS-I bus-mastering. Since cables are largely decreased, installation and start-up become more convenient. Besides, the start time is shortened, and some hidden troubles in the installation can be avoided.
Parts are the same as standard C-TOP. The only changed part is the built-in card, AS-I insulation replacement connector and the cable connector itself.
